All of these problems are nothing new. Perhaps it is happening more often do to more people using these services. Some of my experiences. UPS: Had a small package shipped to my place of employment it got delayed for two weeks. When I called customer service they told me it is probably lost/sitting on the truck and the driver just does not see it. Interesting is this driver later got fired for dealing cocaine from her truck. The second issue was with USPS. Sold two items to a guy in Alaska and I was in Washington state I used his P.O. Box address shown on his PayPal account unfortunately he no longer used it. However Box 2 got delivered but Box 1 got returned to Federal Way, Wa then went back to Anchorage then back to Federal Way, Wa and finally returned to my home address. Bottom line I think it comes down to human error in a hectic fast passed system. When it works well it is very impressive that a package can travel across the country thru half a dozen stops and make it to it's destination overnight.

I read something the other day that said they are going to make changes in the USPS. Expect higher prices and even longer delivery times.

This was a first for me. Been here for 11 years. Lately some Amazon drivers walk to the house while I have plenty of room for them to turn around. yesterday fedex didn’t even try. This is about 20 feet down my driveway.

I drove for UPS from '84 to 2018 . In the early years you could set ur watch by us. Then came along systems designed to save time and money and screwed everything up. Delivery times were determined by computers and not the way the routes were designed to be run. We were told not to deviate from the computer program. We were tracked and disciplined for driving in reverse and alot of other crazy ass rules. Every action was timed to determine ways to trim time. It was a nightmare.
