I hate this behavior with ISP's. Hopefully one day starlink will force them to change since there will be competition. I have Xfinity in my area and have their gigabit service for like $103/month. I know it could be a whole lot worse but that's still really expensive for what it is. My only other option is at&t uverse. It's really hard for new service providers to get authorization to share the utility poles and usually cost prohibitive to go under ground. Starlink though not perfect is probably the only realistic way there could be competition with ISP's again.

I have the gigabit for 113. They said if I used my own modem I could drop the 13/month equipment fee. I used to pay like 95 for it with local channels. I told them to take the DVR back, all the tv channels off the bill and shove it. Still $113.

My 100 meg connection is $60/month. The jump to Gig is $100.

We haven't had cable since the day I got married but are paying for Amazon Prime, Netflix, I pre-paid for 3 years of Disney+ and may or may not be signed into my niece's Hulu account still.

We don't use cable either. The TV stuff was just a bundle that saved us money. When the 'promotional period' expired is where the hike came in, then instead of saving us money the tv we didn't use was costing us money so we dropped it like the hot garbage it was. Still only managed to bring it down to the $113. I think 600mb/s is something like $80-90? I forget, but we use a lot of data. I game and she streams a lot of content.

I went to pump Cole’s mower tire up and my balls were gone.
