What gearing for 33s?

    Don't know much about regearing but I wanna regear a 4cylinder to push 285 75 16. What gear ratio should I go with?thanks

    really boils down to what you use the truck for, what your average drive is like and the topography of where you live? I regeared my 3.5 to 5.29s with 255/85/r16s and it does well for what I need. That being said I have a cap, 400-500lbs of shit in the bed and cap, live in a very hilly area and have a mix of highway/ in-town driving. I would say from my experience that any smaller of a tire or flatter topography that the 5.29s might be a bit much or if you do alot of highway travel.
