Who dat? (Yes, I’m old and not up on the hip stuff...)

 

This is from the marvel show wandavision(like my last post). It just annoys the shit out of me that they followed through with a story that wasn't nearly as detailed or well conceived and brought it to an satisfactory conclusion.

 

How have I been on TW this long without seeing the Thrones thread. Big ASoIaF nerd here! Is this books too or show only?

 

What’s the difference?

 

The books of course are great, clearly Martin's plan for westeros is far more complicated than D&D presented. That's probably why we haven't gotten the last two books! He's artistically painted himself into a corner.

 

He'll throw D&D under the bus and finish the story he intended.

Or die of old age in the attempt.

 

Unfortunately I’ve accepted he ain’t finishing the books before... you know

 

I'd be shocked if he died of old age and not poor health.

 

The show came to a conclusion. The books never will.
