Hey y’all. I’m 9 hours from home and been off roading. I noticed a high pitch squeak when I accelerate. When I put it in neutral and rev the engine it doesn’t happen. It doesn’t happen when I have it in drive and let the car idle forward.

It’s been raining a lot here so I’ve been going through puddles and all.

I applied a full underbody coat of Amsoil HDMP last month to my chassis, could it be some overspray?

the truck was checked out by a mechanic last month after I bought it and he said it was a clean vehicle.

just want to make sure it isn’t something I need to address ASAP.

I’ll try to get a video of the noise.
