It seems like the individual gears maps would override the primary (first) one. Then again if each gear has a map what does the primary map do. Bringing me to what is the difference between these files and how do they relate to one another?

Each of the ones with the numbers is the throttle per gear.

If you have 2.0 from ovtune then the only one it uses is the first gear map.

The very first one is somewhat of a gain setting if you will. I have that one as stock except for right off idle, i lowered the numbers a bit too help with over shooting rpms on take off.

My current tune pretty much only uses edits to those maps, they are the most important maps to edit for customizing the throttle to your individual driving style.

So with the 2.0, changing the other 7 maps beside the first one does not change anything then?

Nope. That is @OVTune 's Single Torque Map Patch. Only PTTT nad PTTT1G are functional for us.

Just wanted to be crystal clear. Thank you. Made my edits based on V2 in the first post and I will be testing today. ALC will be next. Started making those edits then decided I really should only try one at a time.

Shout out to you for starting all these amazingly helpful resource threads for the MTs! :D

    Hey, Folks.

I edited the title and 1st Post to reflect the map name changes.

Cool. I just made the edit to the target (the very top one, NO number next to it)
This was one edit I did not have on my current file... Not sure why....
Once my laptop gets charged, I am going to re-flash with this edit to my current file..
    Thanks.

I will. I have have a few weird issues in the past with my current file....
Regular file (no premium or fob) had when I flashed, when I would be in about 4th gear under load, accelerating about 1/2 throttle and beyond, I got a VERY violent stutter... It happened a few times but I never had my computer on me to log it.... ( I would not even now what parameters to use in the logger)
So, what parameters should I use when I re-flash so I can log it if it comes back?

The stutter has gone away, but every now and then there is still a very small hickup in the throttle while under load, acceleration, typical in 4th gear around 35-40

Sorry, but I have no idea. I kind of have a unicorn without any real weirdness in the Stock tune.

Also, is it still recommended to let it idle after flashing?

    Just flashed...

Stock was just anemic for me. The tune improves all aspects though. I can roll without it.

Yes. You still want to idle up for 5min.
