If you go on the BAMF IFS Skid post. There some trilogy install stuff on the last 6-8 pages.

I just got done with mine and it was definitely some trial and error.

Do you have 2nd or 3rd Gen?

I made one for my own personal scheduling but you do not need an appointment. Depends on the day, you could definitely just show up and they'd work on it right away. The day I came to get a quote, they were booked for that afternoon but their appointment book was wide open for the other days. I told them that if they do well on mine, I'd definitely post up on this forum and they'd see some more business come their way.

    @Tacodog @WrecklessAbandon @Otto-x

Just got mine done today at Muffler King in Kirkland. Ended up going with the tuck method. The owner, Jorge, said it would be over $400 to achieve the images that I mentioned I would go for in my previous post since that would require more pipe pieces and a Y-piece. He troubleshooted with me to keep the labor under the originally promised $190. No additional wrap or heatshields used.

With my RCI aluminum transfer case skid installed. There's about 1/4" of space between the pipe and the skid.

No codes or issues yet. I'm a happy customer so far. Once we settled on an approach, it only took him about 40 minutes to do the work. Bill was about $190 before discount. Avants members get 15% off but he ended up giving me 20%. I would recommend them to any in the Seattle area looking for an exhaust reroute.

That looks great. $190 doesn't seem bad after hearing quotes from other shops in the area.

Is that a better location for the tuck? Will the exhaust burn off the powder coat on the skid plate by being that close? I notice on this location the transfer case actuator is safe from excess heat so the trade off is probably worth it

This is the stock location just up higher. IMO it is superior to wrapping the pipe around the back of the tcase by the actuator.

Also...powdercoat cures in an oven so no harm by being close to the pipe.

Was it my picture he quoted you $400 for? That's crazy. Makes me feel a lot better about the price I paid.

I see he did yours a different method. Does the exhaust block those 2 long bolts that go through the crossmember on the passenger side? My skids use those bolts to mount up and they're already a paid to get to.

Yeah, I showed him your pictures and that was $400. I'm not familiar with which skids you have but if it's the two bolts that go straight towards the rear from the cross member, I believe there is at least a few inches of space. The bend in the pipe starts more to the center of the truck and angles away from those bolts.

Dropped off my truck and BAMF transfer skid at the exhaust shop for the reroute. Showed the guy both reroutes, tucked up higher and around the actuator. Said tucking up higher shouldn’t be to bad.

quoted me $150. I’ll post some pics when I get my truck

That looks really good. Way better than mine. Stay away from Buckeys in Renton.

I know this was years ago, but where did you go in TN? Most of these guys and gals are west coast or NE. I’m looking for a place within 2 hours of Nashville.

Got my reroute done today at AA Performance muffler in Englewood. Another satisfied customer. They were great to deal
with and sounded very experienced with the reroute.
