Went to put the truck in drive and my shifter seemed gummed up or slow, also noticed the little d indicator didn’t light up, but it still drove fine no limp mode or anything like that, then the trac control light came on and the check engine light, so I just kept driving of coarse. Got home turned it off then on, lights were still there, drove fine still, so I wiggled the shift lever around and the d indicator light came on. Still felt gummed up though. No lights or anything on my drive earlier in the day. What gives? Any ideas? 2016 OR

Clean linkage/cable at/on transmission and lube it. Other threads recently on this.

You need to crawl under truck, you will see where linkage/cable connection is. Clean and lube it. Road grime is culprit.
