I have 265/70/16 Duratrac 112S on a ‘17 dcsb 4x4 OR. What tire pressure is recommended? Driver door jam says 30 psi. Thoughts, feelings?

Took em for a cruise at 60mph on highway, and neighborhood 25mph. No vibration in truck. Next day on an different relatively smooth highway there was a bit of wobble/shake. Very minor but noticeable. Noticed I was going 50-55 mph when it occurred. Re torqued, all still at 83 ft/ lbs.

I run my Duratracs at 36 psi.

Average 25 mpg on highway at 70mph.
Overall I average 22.5 mpg, but I drive like a grandpa.

    No lift, all stock.

No shake or vibration at that psi.

    Good idea to rebalance.

Might want to check ur alignment as well.

    Thanks,
What kind of wear/life are you getting at that psi?

I am hearing from most duratrac owners that they rotate always at 5000 miles or sooner.

Only had em for 13k miles, so can't comment on tire life just yet.

But they r wearing nicely and evenly.

    Yes, rotated every 5k.

    Google the term 'chalk test'.

    It's a worthy exercise.

Got lotsa chalk.....now to scout out some acceptable flat pavement void of tons of pot holes and crevasses.

Those are E loads? I would run at least 35 psi.

Your new tire is the same load rating as the stock tire(euro metric 112SL).
    30 psi

My 265/75/16 E load duratracs required a lot of weight to get balanced, even the tire guy was surprised. They had to stack a bunch of stick on weights and had to add the old school weights as well. They rode super smooth though.

Amazing tire in the snow and off-road, everything else, not so much IMO.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
I have often noticed (with my stock tires) an initial vibration because of overnight flat spots. This goes away after driving for a few miles. Whenever I put on new tires I see my dealer for a road force balancing on all four.
