    Good morning all,

Nice day yesterday and a little warmer today but with high winds - then MORE SNOW Tuesday then it warms back up again. Normal pattern for the last few years, last year we got 18" of snow in late May so here we go - spring in the Rockies...

Alan, sorry to read about your loss, pets are a large part of our family, it is never easy to lose one.

Have a great and safe day everyone

Great save Rob. How do you know where you are going if you do not know where you have been.`

Does not matter if it is corporate, military or government with new leadership comes change. The reasoning is how will everyone know that I am now in charge.

Have a great day. It will be a beautiful day in the DC area. Too windy to burn down the firepit but I already have enough to do.

Never easy to lose a four, or three, legged family member. I volunteer for a Golden Retriever rescue, but the moment we meet up I just tell them they will have the best day going forward.

RIP Kitty. Always tough to lose a family member.

Our neighbor is suffering from liver failure. He's been on hospice for about a month. His wife is close touch with my wife, and we go over there a lot to help out. She texted today that thinks he's close.

What a year it has been.

    Good morning, all!!

Sorry to heard about your neighbor, Dave. I hope he passes peacefully.

I'm going to spend some more time behind the field mower today - supposed to be in the 60s today...and then we have some rain and snow for tomorrow into Thursday. Welcome to Spring in northeast PA. Back to the 50s and up on the weekend and next week.

    Stay safe out there!!

    Sorry Dave.
We all have a clock that winds down.

So today is going to be a challenge.
I get me second shot at 8am.
Then I have a date with a Corolla with several issues after.
I hope I can last the day.
If I leave I’ll catch a whole bunch of shit from the shop foreman for the
    Next two weeks.
    Very vindictive.
    Condensing
I’ll get every crap job that comes in.
    Oh wait. That’s normal... lol
Currently hydrating with a second cup of coffee and then going to get the water going.
Already told the guys that work the late shift tonight with me that I may need to leave.
You need help, just ask they said.
Might be nothing but I’m prepping..
Have off tomorrow anticipating a poss. fever.
I’d rather take 1 day off than have 10.
Losing 10 days vacation for nothing would suck.
One guy already had this happen. Lost all his time off..
    All summer plans canceled..
    So everyone be safe..

    Coffee

Drink that water!! My second shot reactions were just slightly worse than the first. I had more joint aches (primarily my shoulders) and felt tired. No fever. But, were all react differently. Hopefully, you'll walk away unscathed. It didn't hit me until the day after the shot. The good news is you got a plan for tomorrrow...and you'll be on the far side of the vaccine!

    Exactly.
I’m peeing like a race horse now.
( well tinkling like an old mare)
Once I sneak in the door I’ll be able to fudge my way through the day.
    Enjoy your bush hog lol

Walked the property yesterday getting ready for the first mow. We'll get at least one more snow first, 28° right now, so.. Picked up trash from the idiots that drive by at 100mph on a country road.. life in the fast lane, I guess. Moved a couple blowdowns to my firewood staging area. They will be processed later. Knocked down a few molehills, helps keep the new blades sharp longer.
Wife is trying a new BP med, makes her sleepy all day, then can't sleep at night. I suggested maybe take it at bedtime? Bingo! Life goes on. Always something to do.
Stay safe everyone, Covid gearing up again.. who didn't see this coming?

    Good morning all,

Dave, so sorry to read about your neighbor. Way to be a good neighbor/friend when needed.

Going to be 40 degrees colder today, snow already started then back up in the 50's Friday. The bouncing spring weather where you really have to be careful and dress appropriately - easy to get sick this time of year. I always wear a neck gaiter long before COVID made it stylish . As I got older I found keeping my neck area covered in the winter (parts of fall & spring as well) keeps me from getting bronchitis. For a while there it was an annual struggle ever since I have adopted the neck gaiter I have not had a relapse (5 years now) - funny how we find ways to adjust as we get older.

Have a great and safe day

A little something every chance we get.
    :pccoffee: Good Morning Porchies!

C'mon Mike, you can do it! I'm old and scrawny and survived just fine!
Have fun in the field Mark - I'm going to finish my secret squirrel today. Made good progress yesterday, AND got to watch the Cup guys on DIRT!
I can't remember who had to tune up the roto-tiller (and I'm too lazy to go back!) - but you can't do this with gas!

    20210329_104825.jpg

So easy to take care of the Tiller Tangle! Just flip it over, and no electricity falls out! I love this little thing!

Let's see, wife's at the store, dog on my legs, need another coffee; something has to give! - Have a great second Friday all!

    Morning all:
    o_O , it's first time that I noticed this.
While looking at instructions for the Fed est. quarterly tax and it says on there that the IRS will not accept checks for more than 100 MILLION, and if you need to pay more you need to write a separate check.
I really don't think I need to worry about that!
