Im 90% sure they are different. ECGS also lists them differently for 3rd and 2nd gens

Adam’s is an arb issue, not really ecgs. Nicks is, well, a nick issue.

Well that's a relief. Still prolly would've gone with them. It's down the road. Suspension side-tracked that plan. Probably.

I think it would be fun to try to do a regear on my own, but I think I'd screw it up. Especially measuring backlash of the clamshell through the drain plug lol. With my luck, I'd end up with two blown diffs

Shannon’s compressor re pressurizes after about a min of being locked. Is this your issue as well?

Yea, which means there is a leak. I never had a leak in the diff before. Just popped up in PA. Only happens after the locker is on for a while. Cycles every few seconds. If i turn it off for a while and then back on, its good for a while again. But i know its in the diff because the air is leaking out of my breather

My front does that, cycles every 45 seconds but only for a moment. I don’t want to drop the front diff again anytime soon so I live with it. Still stays locked.

Agreed. This is #1 on my list when my truck gets back in VA. Although like you, I probably would still go with them anyway...

Also agree here. As much as I like to think of myself as fairly capable mechanically, this is one I will leave up to the professionals!

Good thought on checking the breather.
I’m on this fence as well. As long as it’s staying locked under stress it sure beats the down time.
