Manual transmission and crawl control are mutually exclusive. Though the manual does get ATRAC.

The gearing is still somewhat high in 2 high and 4 high (especially reverse). If I'm in a situation where I need the locker or ATRAC I'm going to be in 4 low anyway. ATRAC is pretty effective at limiting wheel spin and keeping you moving.

I picked the offroad over the sport for a few reasons...I prefer smaller rims and more rubber for ride and deflection when aired down. At the same price the locker is more useful than a decorated hood. I was going for a manual and needed 4 doors.

Electro mechanical actuation of the transfer case is lame(compared to a lever), but usually works. If not just move the vehicle a little and it goes right in/out.

That is because the Sport is available in Access Cab Manual and the Off Road is not available in that configuration.

    Check build thread!
I chose the offroad because I don't plan on building the truck, and wanted a nice, warenteed oem locker that I could use to get out of sticky situations. If I was going to build the truck I would've gone sport (or maybe even sr) and have done ARB front and rear lockers that I can lock whenever I want, not when I'm in 4 low.

    Those comparisons are for DC.
Don’t they make 2wd OR? Unless they discontinued it.

Nah, that graphic showed the starting MSRP for both models, regardless of cab/bed size as @shakerhood pointed out for the OR. I assume I am region locked and unable to get down to the MSRP of $33,160, but the only way I can see to get there is 4x2 ACLB without the technology package with options, which I am unable to remove. The MSRP for that is $34,445 and the Tech Package is $1,285.

Edit: Also, the estimated MPG referred to the 4x2 models which you can only really see with the Compare Models feature.
Part of me wants to be mad, but at the end of the day I love my DCSB.

A lot of hate in this thread for the hood scoop. I know it’s not a functional scoop but I happen to like mine. Gives the truck a little style lol

    1. As previously noted, MTs do not have crawl control or MTS and have A-trac instead
    2. Like you, I wanted a manual, which severely lowered inventory and ability to shop around. I also didn't care about the bells and whistles as I wanted to keep my cost as low as possible. All the Sport MTs in my area had either the advanced tech or other package with the increased cost. I found two ORs that were pretty barebones (but with LED headlights/fogs) and went with the better deal.
    3. I have had no issues with 4lo, granted I have only needed to use it a few times.

i went with a sport because i wanted a manual access cab and it wasnt available on offroad.
that said, there's nothing left on the truck that would differentiate the 2 that matters anymore.
regear and dual ARB locker and suspension basically means you can start with any trim package you want

Once I saw the scoop on my truck I liked it. Maybe it was love a first sight. I have to admit years ago I was not a fan

When I bought my 2019, I wanted a manual. I also wanted an OR, but ended up getting a screaming deal on a manual 4x4 Sport DCSB that I couldn't pass up. Since then, I've upgraded suspension, wheels and tires, installed a full set of skids, sliders, diamondback cover, etc, etc. I may add a locker at some point but I won't get an ARB. The only thing I can't realistically do (which I wish I could) is swap out the vacuum brake booster for the electric booster from the OR. I find the vacuum booster on the Sport makes it a little tough to ease down off of rock ledges sometimes. The transition point between brakes locked and just barely rolling can be a touch difficult to modulate in gnarly situations. I haven't driven an OR, but I would assume the electric brake booster is better in this type of situation.

My exact situation whe we got our 2020.
Kinda jealous or your blue, MGM is ok but shows the dirt immediately, which means the truck almost always looks dirty as we live about a mile up a dirt road. Lol

I still LOVE the new truck though!
