iPhone to Taco voice directions

This seems to be a new problem so it’s probably an iPhone update issue. I’ve got an iPhone 11 and when it’s telling me where to go the first few words do not make it to the truck speakers. Anyone know how to delay the commands giving the two time to shake hands?

ie., the phone wants to tell me to “turn left at the next intersection” but all that comes across is “at the next intersection “. So I’m not really sure what I’m supposed to do at the next intersection.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and don’t have any issues with it in my truck but I don’t use it for directions. Works fine for calls texting and what not so maybe someone else will chime in if they have a similar issue.

 

Yea, mine works fine for everything else. The directions do too, but the way it works it starts talking too soon and the first part cuts off

 

Yea I just figured how to do this, I like it, but I concur in a slight delay. Too bad the system doesn't allow for 'repeat', which
would also be nice if someone is yapping and you don't get it the first time. But overall, I'll take it.
