2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road Premium DCSB

I've been looking at a 12v fridge and am debating on which size to get. The 40QT is 18.7" and the 30QT is 14.3". I really want to make sure I can fit it with a tonneau cover so when I have the dogs with me they can have the whole back seat.
I was planning on getting one of the retracting tonneau covers, likely the pace edwards but not 100% sure yet which one. Think I can squeeze in the 40QT?
I measured the bed at just over 19 inches tall, just not sure how much space a cover will take up.
