The way this picture looks one would think that your ADS reservoir was actually an ADS bump stop.

Went out this past weekend to a favorite local spot with a group and did some wheeling. The waters were high and fun was had.

    IMG_5330.jpg

This side trail we took is quite unique and off the radar. We don't have a lot of thick mud or notched out trails like this in the area, so it sure was a fun change of pace.

    IMG_5329.jpg

    IMG_8712.jpg

While hunting for traction to get out of this hole, I swung my rear end into a rock and busted out my tail light. I had been planning to replace my old oem tail lights soon anyways, so I wasn't too bummed about it.

    IMG_5271.jpg

The finale of the day was this large crossing with a water level much higher than I've ever seen it. The nerves were high for this one so I let some friends on 35's with a little more ground clearance guinea pig it. Watching the water come halfway up their door didn't really give me any more comfort in the crossing but I decided to go for it anyways. While I made it to the other side just fine, I did end up with water on my floorboard, inside my doors, and a small pool in my air box. The fact that water ended up pooling in my air box was enough for me to never want to do a crossing that deep again. If the water was another inch higher I might have quite literally been dead in the water. I'm just glad that wasn't the case and I was able to drive home with just some carpet needing to dry out.

Sounds like a good time, also I've never driven in the dunes so that would be cool to do.

    DM me the details?

Had a fantastic spring break vacation. Nothing like getting to camp right on the water, especially with how nice the weekend was.

Damn it man! Posts like this are the reason I dream of moving on from Montana to the PNW. Awesome photos as always. I'd really enjoy picking your brain on the area and Oregon vs. Washington at some point.

Seems likely - they run these on Paul’s 4runner and he doesn’t beat on it but he does wheel some on it and it’s on 35’s. FYI if you’re communicating with them (saw a post on another thread Monte had written) usually you’ll get one of the three brothers Bobby, Paul, or Carl. Paul usually answers the phone and knows products but has a little slip up now and then like going between nuances between 1st and 2nd / 3rd gens sometimes. Bobby is the owner who is like an encyclopedia but likes to get to the bottom line when he’s busy which he usually is. Carl is their adopted brother from Argentina and has more fab skills than Bobby and runs the shop.

I think I talked to Paul first. Didn't love his ideas but was happy to send them in for them to look at. Next time was Carl or Bobby, not sure. He didn't dick around and just said they were fucked and he was replacing them. All in all a good experience. Took a while but was in the middle of COVID and I never care about waiting usually on companies that are good to their people. So don't count that against them at all. So far mine seem to be better. Which is good, I do like them.

yep. Have to kind of "pre curve" it but it'll fit.

Ya I didn't have any problems.
Was a bit of a pain trying to bend the ends of it once it was in there since you don't have much room to work with in that slug/cup or whatever.

Since the solo lca are in topic, what’s your guys opinion loosing the steering stops? Irrelevant?

I've had no issues losing them functionality-wise.
Although the steering stops on the LBJs will contact and gouge the LCA if you don't grind them down. I found out after the fact as I believe most others have as well.
They should really put that in the instructions or a disclaimer imo.
