Nevada goes off MSRP, they don't care what you "paid".

Yeah just not a tight fit. They previous owners never took the rails out so maybe they wore down from not being a perfect fit. No clue.

I've dealt with bills of sales from CA, NV, and VT and the most simple one was probably CA's. It's like half a page, takes 10 seconds to fill it out. The VT one was like three pages and I needed to attach the KBB valuation to it for tax purposes.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
WA kinda does that too unless you fill out some dept of revenue forms, buy at a dealer, or furnish proof of purchase in front of a notary

We have both. Sales tax on the vehicle's initial sale at time of first registration and we have specific ownership tax which is paid every year on registration as a percentage of the vehicle's value.

my truck was $400~ to register this year, down from $650 or something the first year :bananadead: plus $100 per year for diesel emissions from a private shop

That reminded me I need to register the new family/tow rig and the crawler at the same time in April. Thankfully, the Tacoma only costs like 70 bucks. The new-to-me Denali Yukon XL on the other hand...

Calculator is spitting out $285ish for the Yukon... sooooo with the credit I have from last registration, shouldn't be too bad.

Dang, I don't think I've paid more than $150 ever. Also the newest thing I own is a 2010 Rav4 so that could be why.

At least he's putting them to use, unlike most of the bros around here that add those to their gas trucks purely for 'the look'
