I will be installing led fog lights that will be amber (back-lit) when my low beams are on and white (spot beam pattern) when my high beams are switched on. I was planning on making my own harness that taps in to the existing low/high beam circuit to trigger a battery powered relay.

That being said, where do you guys get your headlight connectors/sockets when doing this kind of stuff?

    I need a male & female H9 and a male & female H11.

Your local autoparts store like Oriley's will usually carry some, often Dorman or similar decent brand. Otherwise Amazon and ebay, though quality can vary significantly.

Thank you for the schematic! I probably should have gave a little more detail in my first post. I have 2017 SR with no fog lights at the moment.

These are the LED pods I have waiting to be installed:

    I figured for $100, I'd give them a try.

My plan was to tap directly in to my low beam circuit to run the amber LED's. I assume the power these require is almost insignificant, and it won't tax the low beam wiring too bad.
Then I would tap in to my high beams to trigger a relay for the LED's spot beam. Pretty much exactly like the upper half of that diagram shows.
