I thought I was seeing things so I put a 4' level on the front of my bed (by the cab) and it was pretty level. I put the level on the tailgate and it's definitely not as level as the front of the bed. It seems to be angling slightly to the passenger side. Only on the tailgate end, not the cab end.

This is a 2021 TRD Pro with 200 miles on it and the biggest thing I've ran over so far is a speed bump. Bought brand new, no accidents.

Anyone have an idea? I tried searching.

How flat & level is the surface your truck is parked on?
How much difference between front & rear?

definitely flat, tires all to spec, truck is brand new. probably about an inch more downward slope to the passenger side. the control is the front of the bed that appears to be level.

honestly, toyota will consider this commercially acceptable

I would bet you can go find a few new unsold trucks out on the lot that will all have the same if not similar variations in levelness

It may be flat, but is it level?
Put a level on the pavement parallel with the front axle. Do the same for the rear axle.
If not the same, then that may be part of the problem.

    Don't mean to offend.
It's my analytical engineering mind reaching out with suggestions on how to thoroughly troubleshoot.
I have found that most flat surfaces are not level and most level surfaces are not necessarily flat. This includes allegedly flat garage floors.
I hope you find the contributing factor for the discrepancy.

Beds come misaligned all the time, take it back and have them realign the bed.
