I coated my truck with Gtechniq CSL and topped with EXO v4.
Also, I have coated my other cars with Optimum Gloss Coat and Cquartz UK 3.0
Optimum was the easiest to use.
The Gtechniq has the most hydrophobic compared to any of the others I have used
Honestly, if you want to use a spray-on type like that 303.
Turtle Wax Seal n Shine is a monster when it comes to durability. I use that all the time. I stopped buying the expensive spray sealants I use to use.

I used Car Pro Cquarts 3.0 on mine. I’ve also used hydro silex. First coat on my wife’s car was Cquarts and then every year I use hydro silex as a yearly coat to keep it looking great!

I have not heard of these products until this year! So I don't know much about them. Someone on this forum said they liked the 303 products. I am willing to pay a decent amount of money if that gets me a good product. I was thinking about having it professionally done and that's a crap ton of money so what's the next best thing?

303 makes good stuff but cost doesnt mean its good.
Look at that garbage F11 top coat they charge like 50bucks and its 100000% garbage.
I will always recommend someone TW seal n shine for the best bang for your buck out there. $10 bottle is better than most of those that cost triple its price. I have used most of them as well.
I use to use Sonax brilliant shine detailer, Carpro reload, optimim spray wax, black fire crystal seal, and a bunch of others.
The last Coat black ice is also really good if you want to step a little up from the TW seal n shine.

What’s your budget? If you want a hands down great coating then look no further. Optimum Opti-Coat Pro. It runs for $1,000-1,500k. It’s a multi year application and the warranty is great.

dont let prices scare you. You can do a real coating without isues. They are not hard and easy to apply.
Gtechniq CSL is a 3-5 year coating. I did my whole truck with a 30ml bottle and still have half left. bottle cost like $70
You dont need to do a crazy polish to apply it thats just if you want swirl free finish. If you wash give a good clay and then clean the paint with a panel wipe to remove all oils you can apply the coating like a sealant in about the same amount of time it just requires. a little more attention for high spots.
Alot of detailers and others make coatings seem like they are ONLY for pro to use so they can charge crazy. they are very easy these days

Yeah I was thinking of trying the DIY route first. That's more than I want to spend.

also question is do you want to make sure you maintain it properly. Correct washing no tunnel washes that have brushes, proper decontamination around every 6months and such. If you dont want to worry about all that just use Seal N shine or the Black Ice from last coat and call it a day.

With the Last Coat 2 I think a bottle is around $35.00, with the one bottle I've bought I've applied it to my truck 2x, and 3 other cars once and still have enough left to do the truck another time. I'd estimate about 2 ounces per vehicle.

The Last Coat products I have been using are: The Last Coat 2, The Last Wash and Amped. All very simple to apply, almost fool proof. I'm tempted to give Black Ice a try when I run out of the others.
