That's a horrible idea. What time?
We call them honorary Marines, because most of them can keep up with us. We had one that went by Marine Corp uniform regs in Okinawa, and he was just as fit and crazy as the rest of us. Semper Fi Doc!

I’d like to take a trip to see the sunset parade/evening parade. I’ll try to let ya know when we decide on it, I think it’s on Tuesdays/Fridays respectively starting may-ish.

At the barracks? They are pretty awesome, just gotta register for the tickets. And you know it's good when a Army guy shows respect.

Also, a woman was on her cell phone during TAPS when I was there and in the most epic way possible, a marine broke from attention, did an about face, told her to sit down and be quiet, and turned back. I was living it.

Any idea why the ST Maxx has a C load range for the 255/80r17 but an E load range for the 255/85r16?

I’d like to see the evening parade at the barracks, from what I hear it’s gotta be awesome. Our battalion took a group of NCO’s to see the sunset parade at the USMC War Memorial/Iwo Jima monument and it was the best ceremony I’ve seen by far. Not that I didn’t absolutely love all the retirement ceremonies for random E-8:9/O-4^ That had a vouln-told attendance....

@Tiny's Taco, I’ll let you know if we decide to make a trip, I think the evening parade would work best for us too.

it's a semi-float axle, so the wheel bearings will keep the axle shafts lined up and safe.

@Darkgoatracer I don't see any reason you can't just wrap the axle in plastic to keep water/critters out of the housing and push it outside. if the front dif is okay just take the rear driveshaft all the way off and put it in 4H to drive it outside.

Yut!! There is a mini one out here on the air station at KBay.

I've been to both several times, and I can attest that they never get old! I prefer the Evening Parade at the Barracks; it is just a much more intimate setting and the buildings really create a great acoustic effect. My BIL was a body bearer there when he was in back in the 90's, so I went to a bunch of parades back then in my early days in the Corps. When I went through WOBC/TBS back in 2009, one of my platoon mates got tickets for the Evening Parade for several of us through one of his friends who was stationed at the Barracks. We had VIP seating and were invited to the Center House after for beers on his tab. By far the best parade I ever attended!

We were fortunate enough to have both the silent drill team and the President's Own marching band our graduation.

@03dumdum - will do. I've seen the YouTube version and would love to see it in person.

    Edit - elementary school spelling...

I heard Marie is not there anymore.. but hadnt heard anything further that was negative. I guess now I know. Where is the next place to get bushings?

Wheelers and AllPro merged, so theyre out. And they charged shipping..
