What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Did it to mine.....no glare, you’ll be happy.

 

Got the spark plugs done at 25k.

 

I moved my ARB twin air compressor over to the other side of the engine bay using the Slee Offroad mounting bracket. Install was easy and took a couple of hours.
I moved it over from a custom stainless steel mount bracket I made in order to make some room for a power panel.

it was last week, but i swiped the side of my bed against my neighbor's Tundra bumper

 

Just a quick rinse she was filthy after a drive to the mountains... going to do it again tomorrow

Maybe they didn't put them on the 3rd gens...Ours is an '07 AC...those cubbies ended up being too far forward for easy access. We are going with the rear covered storage area instead...closer to the tailgate...bolt holes already there. No additional drilling into the bed wall.

Which tranny cooler are you going with? Thinking this will be something I do this spring.

 

Why?

 

Received 5 of these in the mail today so I made an appointment to get TPMS sensors from my stockers moved over then mount and balance the new shoes.

Pulled up a bunch of plastic panels. Ran some wire. Ended up with a factory-ish plug for my fridge:

 

Did you run the wires into the cab, under the door sills and out into the back or did you run it under the cab on the outside then up through one of the rubber grommets? That's sick looking!

 

I had to pull the RCI skid off the front of my truck to give me mechanic more access to the air conditioning system to fix that. Seems I have taken pieces from the trails back home with me over the years. The oil was just from a small spill when I changed my oil a couple of weeks ago.


And if there was ever any doubt that my truck is more then a parking lot Princess (which she also is), it looks like RCI was doing a lot of work up front, and doing its job well.



There is now a new coat of frame paint drying on it!

Yup... trend started.

 

Bilstein 6112/5160 on 4th notch with Icon Leaf Pack set at option 2. Also a home made roof rack from a week ago.

 

Not really Tacoma related but today I am officially RETIRED
