    @Abeyancer

    I picked up a Siemens Step7 PLC starter kit on ebay for a really good price. Never messed with any of their stuff but Ive always wanted to have it on my resume. Surprised that it came with a how to program manual. This thing is bigger than any book I got for A-B software haha, probably bigger than the Bible at that. Just need to set up a virtual machine to run the software and I should be all set. Thinking about grabbing an HMI for it that I found locally on ebay if the software works good enough.

    That was a one off thing I found on ebay. Siemens kits are still made though, around $600. https://www.automation24.com/s7-1200-starter-kits

    Honestly though I would pick up a used Allen Bradley Micrologix 1100 and download RS500 Micro software for free. That software is very dated, but it seems to be what all other PLC software is based off of. Its what I used in school and I havent had much trouble learning other manufacturers softwares.

    If he wants something just to try before he buys, pick up a a copy of LogixPro 500 on ebay. Its like an old computer game based on the RS500 software. It gives I think about 10 simulations of common factory machines and you have to write programs to control them. I used it in school for the first couple weeks and it helped a ton cause we didnt need a PLC to run it at the house. Theres newer stuff like it but they get you with a 30 day trial then its stupid expensive.

    Yeah it had 3 outlets downstream. My basement TV, sound system, consoles, roommate 3d printer were on it.

    Every outlet on the circuit had loose wires. Lazy mother fucker wired it

    Then yeah seems like someone got lazy building the house.
    Did they atleast wrap them all in tape before putting it in? Most homes i see out here all the electricians wrap the shit out the outlets before putting them in

    Are you trying to get the inner tie rods out? I bought the special Harbor Freight tool to do it on the z, I guess you can use a big ass adjustable wrench too.

    Trying to replace one of the lines that run across the steering rack that was ruined. I have one rack with 300K that leaks all it's fluid out in 5 minutes of run time. Also picked up a Toyota reman rack with an unknown amount of miles from a truck that was sitting in a field. Figure I'd take the good lines and outer tie rods off one rack and put them on the one that will hold fluid.
