A guess 2 or 3 years ago maybe longer time flies .

If you want to know for sure you could check the owners manuals and find the date

Did the change come with the new-style case? (The one with the handles on each end.)

    Check Build thread
I own a inverter Miller 211 (new style), no complaints

Definitely doesn’t weld like the Miller 252 though. That thing welds likes butter

Just out of curiosity, what made you go with the Vulcan MigMax over the OmniPro multiprocess? I'm currently stuck between these two for my next purchase.

I don’t really have any desire for the tig or stick features. I just don’t need them.

I just got done comparing the Miller 211 with the Mig max. I was able to squeeze Air Gas enough for them to get with in $200 of the Mig max. I figure you will need a tank lease for eather, I didn't feel that price was too bad. If you go thru a lot of consumables, the price can get better.

Need to make a wooden stand with a bowl for the chain but threw some scraps together this morning. Thanks to @Gregthespy for the idea

Reminds me of Bethlehem Steel Weld Shop They got paid piece rate instead of setting up Sub Arc take two 1/4" electrodes one stinger in each hand .

Most times using a Miller Mark VI or Mark VII.

I was not sorry to see the move to inverter Racks so much easier to move. Much lighter

As many as I can fabricate
I worked for Arcair in the 70's and we made underwater rods to 3/8" and some cutting rods to 1/2". Crazy to work with. We actually invented arc gouging.
