    Hello all
First post, first mod. I'm personally happy with the result but I'm also interested on what you guys think: (I'm assuming many of you will think it looks too much like primer)

Got my tacoma back in December. A used 2008 5 lug. It was in fantastic shape inside and out, but one thing that bothered me since I got it was how worn the stock rims were wearing.

They could have been in much worse shape, but I had a feeling I could make them look better with a few cans of spray paint. Plus I decided I wanted a darker wheel color that wasn't black, so I was aiming for a charcoal gray.

Pic of wheel before; paint was really starting to peel near the center

Priming and wasting a bunch of good copy paper

A much cleaner paint job than I expected for the most part

And the center caps painted, including the tedious painting of the Toyota symbols

It is complete! Painted the stock rims which I think looks so much better than they did before, even though it is a little lighter than I wanted from the start. It depends on the lighting too, as on really sunny days it looks very close to the stock color, and other times looks just as dark as I wanted.

Let me know what you think!

Not the color I would have picked but it looks good man, well executed. A lot better than before.

Broke a rim and the replacement wasn't the same color, and I'm pretty tired of the "everything black trend", so I changed the color on all of them. Rattle cans are so easy.
