I like the new one. The 2020 Camo. It's cheaper than the Suzuki, but what sparked my interest is it's liquid cooled, has a adjustable uni-trak rear suspension, and a 6.1 gal fuel tank. It has a pretty cool paint job too.

I honestly think I would enjoy riding a bike out on trails while others are in the their trucks. I could take my camera, and my drone, and be trail photographer. I would build a overland trailer and take it on that. It would be set up with a RTT, awning, and camp kitchen. Get on location, and set up camp and not have to move the truck. But I could choose.

Here at the house there are a lot of times I have to run into town and taking the car or truck doesn't make much sense to just pick up a prescription or some dinner from the sub shop. I could just hop on the bike. I really miss riding.

I definitely hope and dare I say, expect, that you get out and ride while you’re still young!

I definitely recommend trying to find something gently used. Thats my main regret with this bike. I quickly had over $10000 in something that could have been far less expensive had I started used. But it was a learning experience and my first loan with a cosigner so it was a good idea for me to do it while I was young and wet behind the ears :anonymous:

"Was" wet behind the ears? LOLOLOLOL
    <3 :D

    :fistbump:

I still have my heart set on a KLR in camo. I need as much torque as possible for my fat ass. I'll just break a hip on something speedy.

Oh and Deb is down with the idea too. :D That's always 99% of any battle. :p

Give me a couple more years. I need to slow my roll a little bit on the spending. A lot of our money is going towards the dog right now. But when the time comes, you and I can go check em' out together. Since I have a license I can test ride em'.

Just did a full oil change today. Filter, screen, everything. At 15,050 miles and still running strong.

Just a tad smokey on start up.

In the not so distant future, we’re going to need:
    434 big bore
    Valves
    Head work
    Stage 1 cams
    Lectron carb
    Cam chain
    High compression head gasket
And maybe then i can do the fancy and pretty yoshi motor mounts haha

Hi guys been gone a few months, jumping right back in:cool:
I miss riding so much! Trying to convince my wife a bike is the right call for commuting right now:bikewheelie2:
But 2nd kid just arrived so it may be a little longer.
Back to the good stuff, my neighbor just acquired an older Yamaha Savage(?) 650 for literally pennies he's doing a minor rebuild( it just sat parked for 5 years not a wreck) which could put it for sale by end of summer:drevil:
