    A dumb moment that sticks out in my mind is when I made myself a big plate of spaghetti and went to sit down and tilted the plate while sitting down and emptied the entire plate onto the floor.

    I have one more. Me and my dad were refreshing the front end on my Tacoma and I was installing the lower control arm. I was using the torque wrench and attempting to torque up the bolt on the right side arm. It was taking a long time and I was starting to complain why the there was decent resistance but no click from the wrench. He came over and pointed down and the metal plate that goes in the bushing was laying next to me so instead of allowing me to get the proper torque value I was just smashing the the metal of the mount to the rubber of the bushing...

    Reminds me of the time my dad was helping me with the ECGS bushing and I couldn’t get the removal tool in place so I stood up and walked away for a second and he laid down and was like “Got it!” I was like damn youre my hero.... went to go look and went I don’t see it! “Took a second” and realized he’d dropped the tool into the front diff!!! He didn’t know exactly what I was trying to do! 6 hours later we got it fished out!

    Lol! We had a rough time with the ECGS replacement too! He actually was my hero though. We check rechecked and then checked again to make sure the tool was placed properly. Put some force on it and the part that slips in to grab the needle bearing broke and fell inside the diff. I went full Sweaty Teddy in panic mode because here is my beloved Tacoma (and only vehicle) torn down and disabled with debris inside the diff. He told me to calm down and we'll figure it out. Long story short, he fished out the broken pieces, put them together to recreate the piece that broke to use as a template and made a new piece out of an unneeded wrench we had laying around. Worked great and I gave him such a big hug :D
