I was looking at getting a transmission skid plate and welding some wings onto it to deter would be cat thieves (got the idea from @tommygs3 ) but then I noticed that RCI skids only fit 4x4s. A very quick Google search didn't turn up anything helpful. Does anyone make skids for us 2WD drivers? The question has been brought up here a few times over the years but I didn't see any that had been answered.

SOS concepts made me a custom transmission skid plate. Their front IFS skid fits both 2wd and 4wd but the trans has to be an inch longer to work correctly (crossmember is about an inch further back). I’m 2nd gen but hope this helps
