First time Taco owner!

Finally got my first Tacoma (and first truck) - 2021 TRD Off Road, 6 speed manual, Super White.

Not really new to Toyota and had a 2005 SR5 4Runner for 8 years. I really missed it since selling it back in 2019, so I made it a point sometime again I’ll get something similar.

Come 2021, the idea of getting a truck came to mind and I started researching on Tacomas (instead of a 4Runner since we already have a SUV, a Subaru Ascent). And just this week was when I got the green light from the commander-in-chief so off I went looking for a TRD OR 6-speed manual. And it was a little hard to find here!

I missed out on a 2021 TRD OR in Cement and felt really bummed. The rest I found were pretty much pre sold.

And then decided to check our neighboring state (WA) and lo and behold they had this TRD OR in Super white and with the tech package, leather, sunroof, etc. A couple of hours in the dealership and here I am and a proud new owner!

Nice find! Welcome! I searched and searched for a manual. Found a 2019 OR also in super white. Manuals are hard to find on the lot. Looks like you should start with a viper cut

First time Tacoma owner. I just got that same truck in cement, 3 people asked for test drives while I was signing the paperwork.

Yeah lucked out on this one.

Forgot to mention that prior to this I did test drive a certified pre owned 2019 TRD OR in Cavalry Blue the other night and was almost ready to pull the trigger but my wife talked me out if it, seeing how much the 2021s are priced and I do like the 10-way electronic adjustable driver seats.

So held off on that - and good thing as I believe I got a better deal

I believe mine still has the Wrangler tires.

Looking to get the OEM tonneau cover - any other suggestions? The BakFlip looks good too from what I’ve seen.

i was this close getting a Cement one, but was a few hours too late and it got sold before I even got to the dealership.

Was also looking for a 6-speed TRD OR in Army Green, but didn’t find any. The dealer I got mine from had an Army Green but was an automatic.

I had a guy stop at my driveway and ask what I'd take for my '99. I've never experienced that with any other vehicle I've owned.

Welcome to the forum. I’m new here too and bought same truck (trd off road manual, but without leather and other fancy stuff). Had to put a deposit and wait 2.5 months to get it, due to no manuals in my area.
