Alrighty everyone, currently I have my order in for 6112/5160 with a Dobinsons L-59-111r leaf pack for 5-800 lbs of constant weight. Word is everything should be in by June. I will be leaving for fire season next week so the back order isn’t that huge of a deal to me. I’ll get everything put in this fall.

I will be doing a lot of Forest road driving, so it would’ve been nice to have but it’ll be nice to enjoy it in the winter. Either way, I usually get at least one blow out and a couple nails on the road, the occasional horseshoe in the tire. I will be getting new wheels and tires come September.

With the 6112/5160, will I be able to reasonably smash a 35x10.5x17 tire on? (Klever) I’m expecting to do the typical CMC, pinch weld, and chopping some plastic.

I am thinking? I will go the 5/6 setting on the 6112’s. Is that enough lift?

I am expecting to, and will be purchasing SPC uppers. Also considering just ordering the 650lb coil spring to give it a little more.

the rear will just be the 5160’s with the 111r giving it 2 1/4” in the rear.

Also, not sure that it’s relevant to this topic. But I am thinking about replacing stock bumps with wheelers Offroad front bumps and rear with the sumo spring as I tow a lot, and my truck carries a constant load of at least 600lbs daily, empty.

    Any advice is appreciated.

I got the 6112/5160 plus the dobinsons pack for $1700 is that a decent deal?
