Why do some of you get your picture taken by the dealer?

Thanks! I try to have a humorous outlook on most things. I was (and still am) pretty stoked with my purchase.

FWIW I also have a pic of me doing the ‘Toyota Jump’ (was popular in Toyota ad’s back in the 80’s) next to my other Toyota when it hit 100K miles

 

I HATE selfies! I think the people who take them are little more than self-absorbed idiots, and I laugh heartily every time one of these idiots falls off of a cliff while taking one. To be fair: if I ever fall off of a cliff while taking a selfie, please laugh heartily at me for being such a dumbass!

That being said, I took a selfie with the dealer who sold me my truck (Mountain States Toyota, in Colorado) after the sales manager at one of my local dealerships called me a liar when i sent her the quote sheet from the Colorado dealer (their price was so damned good that she practically crapped herself.)

The best part was that I was signing the paperwork in the showroom of the Colorado dealer, when the local dealer texted me "hey did you actually buy that truck in Colorado, LOL!?"

I grabbed the salesman, and we took a selfie with the truck & the Mountain States Toyota Logo on the back wall. I sent her the photo, without writing a word.

Her problem was that she couldn't understand normal thinking!
