Left my deposit 10/26/20 picked up last Saturday 03/27/21.

 

5 months you waited? That’s almost how long I waited for a pro.

Yes, it finally was picked up January 21st and built February 15th. Didn’t get to the port until March 23rd. I was ready to give up, happy I waited it out.

How can one find the code to their vehicle? Like if 7568 is DCLBOR4x4, what would ACLB Sport 4x4 be?

I just called the only two dealerships within 500 miles of me in Houston with a voodoo blue Off Road 4x4 longbed and both said “these Tacomas are flying so we are sticking to MSRP”.

 

It's called lazy salesmen. They want to sell you what's on their lot and when they can't do that they start the BS lies. You really can get the exact build you want via special order. I've done it three times and it was all done on the internet. For the second time in the past five years, the Dealerships here in metro Dallas told me the same thing yours did. I just laugh as Im walking away when I tell them I'll find a dealership that will get me what I want. Those two dealerships are Mountain States Toyota (Denver) and Camelback Toyota (Phoenix). One took 45 days from order to delivery and the second one took 60 days. It can be done.....

 

This man speaks the truth! Same experience as well. Went to 5 different dealers in person and emailed a bunch too before finding one that would work with me on a special order. It also took 5 months and 4 days to be delivered to my dealer. Signed the dealer papers today now waiting to pick it up in the next week. Get what you want if you're coughing up that much cash! The extra wait will be worth it and make owning the truck that much sweeter!

 

Same thing here. Not a single dealership in DFW would talk about ordering what I wanted. I ended up locating what I wanted myself by just randomly searching all over multiple times a week. Took me four months to find my truck.

 

I just ordered mine and waited. Didn't search, didn't worry about what else was out there. I ordered it exactly the way I wanted it, then added what the factory couldn't.

 

Had a local dealership been will to take my order, I would have done this as well. I only kept looking cause no one would take an order for me.

 

These trucks still look pretty sweet in B&W. Almost like they have a hint of color.

 

Well it's official gentlemen. I just pulled the trigger and traded in my 2020 Tacoma VooDoo Blue for a brand new 2021 Toyota Yaris, access cab, V-6, 4x4, 6-speed Manuel Transmission. I'll post more pictures after I get a little mud on the tires.

 

10/10, would drive the crap out of.
