Hey all. So I realized after being pulled over for having a 7 months expired inspection that it might be time to fully address my exhaust leaks. After replacing the cat-back, the sudden reintroduction of back pressure seems to have fully defeated the flanges from the headers to the y-pipe.

My question is, what have other people done in this situation? Part of me wants to just say screw it and just get rid of the secondary cats and go with something like URD, but I also don’t really want to spend the money for that. How much have you guys spent getting a shop to cut and weld new flanges?

I’m contemplating stopping at my mechanics shop tomorrow and asking him what he thinks.

V band clamps are supposed to be good. Guys I’ve talked to who used them were happy.
