I purchased a 5' bed in 2018 on my taco, and a week later realized that nobody is ever going to sit in the back seat and should have got an access cab.

That said, what are some examples of things that a 6' bed can accomplish that a 5' bed with a bed extender/hitch extender/bed bars/etc. simply cannot get done?

I have been racking my brain, and can't think of anything that a 6' bed can do that a 5' bed cannot get the job done. I feel if a 5' bed can't do it, you'll need an 8' bed, that isn't offered on taco.

So, is my penis just small, or is it big enough to get the job done?

I thought I'd miss my 6' bed from my GMC more than I do. But I have a bed extender which gives me more room than my old bed did in the first place. So if you're really worried about it, maybe that's a direction you can take.

Move two twin size bed frames disassembled and mattresses, two night stands, and a dresser in one trip. Did it as a favor for a friend.

These extenders really add to the versatility of longer loads.

I had the same realization after it was too late... Not my penis but that I shoulda went access cab. To answer your question, sleep with the tailgate up, fit a dirt bike in it with the tailgate up, probably a host of other things but those are the two that I think about.

Get a utility trailer and never need to put large stuff in the bed again.

With the ~6 plus bed and tail gate down a 8' 2x4 does not stick out.

They do make a double cab with a 6 foot bed . I have a double cab with a 5ft bed works for my needs . It all depends on what you use your bed for that would require 6ft .
