Haha! I'll take that as a compliment for sure! We named the company before we realized "overlanding" had become a bit of a joke. The traction boards would have worked if he wasn't completely high centered... but yeah, definitely not helpful at all then!

Thanks man! Can't wait to get the rear sua kit in and try to rework my shock setup with it, and get the hydro bumps on. Then the suspension will be finally done! The bumps probably aren't necessary, but I like them anyways. I'm not above drinking a little bit of the bling koolaid

 

What made you decide to go SUA over your Chevy swap?

 

No up travel with the 63's, even though they sit too high. They droop out well enough for rocks and stuff, but I don't like how high the rear of my truck is with them, but if I lowered it I would go from only 5" of up travel to 3". I have a 16" shock in the back and am only using around 13-14" of the stroke which also is pretty lame when Harry is getting 18-20" of travel in the back with a 14" shock under the bed.

 

This plus the bolt in factor is what sold me on going with his SUA setup vs the 63.

 

It rides like a dream. Best thing since sliced bacon.

That makes sense. I’m wanting to stick with SOA for around here, but there doesn’t seem to be many options other than Chevy swap and hammer hangers unless I’m missing something.

Hell no lmao they don't even fit in the truck since I only have 2 seats. It works out in my favor the majority of the time.

 

Once the kid can hold is own head up he's old enough for wheeling.

Once he can crawl onto the coffee table he's beg enough to start spotting.

You can run our same SUA kit with a spring over pack.

Isn't spring over the better option for a heavyweight truck? I'd love the travel of SUA but am 6500#... "conventional wisdom" says SOA for that no?

 

Why would it be better? The correct spring pack for the weight of the truck is what’s needed. We do SUA raptors all day and they are heavier than any Tacoma. Uptravel is what makes an off road truck enjoyable to drive.
