I want a wider stance with my 265/70/17 and I actually really like the SEMA wheels I already have so instead of going for a more negative offset I am considering these spacers instead. Can anyone chime in?

Since the 3rd gen chassis is essentially the same as the 2nd gen, you may find more history over there that still applies.

I’ve had mine on since ~30k. I’m at 60k now. Not one issue and Im offroad in the mountains or desert all the time here. It’s also my dd. Yeah, people do frown upon them, and of course there are better options like different wheels, but for now they haven’t let me down once. Just follow installation instructions and torque specs to a tee. Recheck torque at every tire rotation. Thazz my .02!

They blew up on my first gen so I shy away from them now.

Would checking the torque break the red loctite?

I have 27000 miles on my 2017 and have been running .75 inch Borlas and have had no problems with the spacers. Ive been told to buy them or SpyderTraxx because they are hub centric. Didn't have a preference on which ones I bought. I ran across the Borlas first. Just make sure you torque them to specs and it doesn't hurt to check the torque again when rotating tires.

Gotta check them ~ 10ft/lbs less than they were initially torqued so you don’t run the risk of breaking the loctite.
