    Hi All
I just installed a 52" curved light bar with the custom door jam mounts. Looks good, works awesome but...
at speeds over 35mph it vibrates the whole roof. It rattles my sun glasses and vibrates my mirror.
    Anyone got a solution???
Move up, down, closer to glass, away from glass ???
    2014 TRD Sport Double Cab
    Thanks all, Jack

You are going to want to minimize or eliminate the gap between the light bar and your roof/ windshield. Hopefully you have some wiggle room on the mounts to do this, otherwise you'll have to make some spacers or fab up some sort of air dam.

I have yet to hear (lol) of a silent solution to roof light bars. They are just going to make noise up there. All you can do is minimize it.

Ummmm. I hoped to not have to make a huge mod like that but oh well weekend is coming. Thanks Ryan.
Keep the suggestions coming as I work on a solution.

You could see if your light bar would fit any of the behind the grill valance mount kits. I know it’s a relocation technically but it may be a solution if you can’t figure out anything less intrusive

The biggest complaint I always heard when mounting led up on roof is the annoying whistle you get.

    Ok, all the noise gone.
    How you may ask?...Well
First I used Noico sound deadener on the entire inside roof, including all the plastic pieces.
Then I made felt sleeves to go inside the glasses holders and put some small dots of stick on weather strip in the doors of said holders.
Then I cut the mounting bracket for the light bar and redrilled it to move the bar down and in towards the window. The light bar now sets only 1/2 inch from the window and far enough down that you can see 3/4 inch of glass above the bar when you look at the front of the truck. This move also took care of the whistle. Bonus... nothing hits the light bar when I carry stuff on the factory roof rack !!!
    Thanks all for the comments.

0326211548_HDR~2.jpg Does it have a center pedestal that you push against roof? My KC does and you cant even tell its there.
0130210901.jpgyou can kinda see the leg in the middle of the bar

    Is that pedestal bolt down?
My brackets also wrap into the door jam.

It bolts to light bar and has a rubber pad on it that you can adjust the tension. KC says to put that pad on windshield instead of roof but nah, I put it on roof. Other than some obvious wind noise you cant even tell its there.

And my brackets bolt to roof drop rail holes.
