Hey been looking but figure i just ask.

Can you add another two inches of lift to an already 3 inch lift?

I currently have a 3 inch OME lift with leafs in rear. I like the look but i wouldnt mind a few more inches. Whats my best bet of achieving that.

    What’s your budget?
How hard do you wheel it?

This is going to the 2 most important questions that need to be answered.

Think 5-6” lift would require drop bracket if I’m not mistaken. Got a 6” lift in my 09 and I’m running a fabtech kit. Going from straight 3 to a 5-6 is gonna tweak your cv’s, in which the diff drop would help remedy that problem. On top of that, might want to think about a new driveshaft too. My lift required a new custom driveshaft, but I’m single cab so it was a 1 piece shaft unlike extra and 4 doors with 2 piece shafts, although you could go 1 piece if you wanted I think.

Any lift above 3 requires a drop brocket lift or your screw your whole truck up.

Your options are a drop bracket lift or a body lift

    Thanks for the replies guys.

As far as drop brackets, can i buy that seprate or would i need different coils and struts to go with it?

Whats your guys take on body lifts?

The highest bodylift i think i would do is 2 inches. And i feel i would be happy with my overall height.

Body lifts gonna mess with your bumpers and such, expose some frame, look funny.

I think drop brackets come with new shocks, some may just come with a giant spacer to put on stock length shocks.

gonna have to get blocks and new shocks for the rear too, which may also be included in the kit

Anyone with a drop bracket lift that has a good ride still. My OME lift rides like a dream, it was much needed because i feel like the stock suspension was shot that the slightest bump would make the truck just roll like a wave. Was pretty dangerous.
