BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
GMC RC dually would be sweet

Well, mostly not starting is now never starting, so truck is going into the shop for evaluation Monday. Was also pointed to enterprise car sales buy the accounting department. Seems as though we have a good deal with them, so I might end up with a used, mostly good for what I need truck, and then get our other truck replaced with a bigger dedicated towing truck later. Not all bad news for once.

Well, paperwork is through, meeting Tuesday for approval with a 35k budget for a used truck. So all my original choices are out.

Now, it looks like it’s going to be 2018-2020 F150 with either the 3.5t or the 5.0. Or Silverado 2018-2020 5.3 or larger engine, but with the towing gearing and hopefully 8 speed. I’m aiming for 10k tow rating or close to that as I can get. Looked at lots of Rams, but they all have 3.21 gearing so far so they just don’t stack up.

Just left a dealer, and looks like (unless someone else throws a wrench in the works) Monday I will be bringing back to the shop a 2018 F150 3.5T with the 10 speed and full trailering setup with 60k miles. It’s crew cab and long bed with XLT trim so some nice bells and whistles. Plan now is to order a new one ton truck this summer. Oh, and it’s white, former work truck for a telecom maintenance company.

Gonna put our design school and their vinyl cutter on getting some branding for the tailgate and maybe the sides.
