Looking to update my sr5. I use her for my landscaping co and tow a light weight trailer Monday/ Friday. I still want a tad higher lift and bigger tires tho. Not sure about changing the wheels but possibly. Money is always a factor. Think I have 2000-3000 for some upgrades. Spacers sound out of the question. I’m pretty new on here so apologize if I’m posting in the wrong place. Thanks for your ideas!

Being a business owner myself. That’s a really bad use of your money imo.

Lol this is what my wife says! I will say the gas mileage is great right now. I love this truck and just am thinking of making it a tad cooler. Your 100% right and thanks for your input.

If it wasn’t your business truck I’d say sure. But anything you do to the truck that increases costs , ie gas, maintenance etc. is taking money out the business and most importantly in the end out of your pocket. FYI. It’s a Tacoma so it’s already cool. Also just curious how’s your business set up? LLC? S-Corp? DBA?

Just my opinion having an sr5....leave the truck alone. I enjoy using mine so much, this one truck i don't want to see get screwed up like my buddies 2019 taco when he did the same your asking to do. He's all back to factory stock now liking his his truck far more the way it should of been the way toyota delivered it.

Maybe just add some decals . It does look a little bare and wouldn't cost much .

If this is your only vehicle, I don't see why not. Even if it eats into your profits a bit. Got to enjoy what you drive ;)

those wheels are great, just upgrade to more aggressive tires when it's time for new shoes

I love the color and the long bed! I think the long beds looks great with a lift.

A 3-leaf add-a-leaf, some Bilstein 5100s and new 265/75/16 tires wouldn't break the bank and together they could get you like 2" of lift. I wouldn't do that to a city work truck, but the gas mileage already kind of sucks on these things so if you can live with that then fine.

If you just have the itch to mod, then something that makes you more comfortable in a truck that you spend a lot of time in, like a speaker upgrade and some seat covers, might be cool. Way cheaper and no downside

I actually like the stock wheels. I'm looking at some toyo open country AT3's 265/75/16's for my SR5. Maybe some bilstein 5100's also but that's about it. I'm pretty happy with my truck. I did add the meso stage 1 led tailights a worthy upgrade in my opinion.
