I’m fortunate to have good friends with great connections. But as wonderful as that walnut is, I’m even more excited for these. C1AC89CD-33AC-43FB-ADB4-C06323E33487.jpg

think i'm going to try joining via tongue and groove with my next one. this was made solely with scrap from my wine rack I made in the fall. cut the stripes down from scrap 1x3's and had a random piece of 2x8 laying around. have a few 2x3 chunks I may try and use the table saw to practice those joints before committing to a larger one. I have access to a plotter machine so I'm going to cut the stars to fit next week.

I really like it. I don’t have anything to compare it to but it cuts straight. Came out of the box adjusted properly (checked blade angles, kerf, and the fence measurements on both sides of the blade). After the first weekend of use I now need to get a shop vac for the saw dust.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Get a cyclone for the vac. Your shopvac will thank you.

I have the harbor freight one. The seal on the back of the gun failed after the first day's use ... but all it does is continuously leak a small amount of air, so it still works, just makes an annoying hiss of air whenever I have it plugged in. For $30, I'll continue to live with it, but obviously not a quality product lol.

I have the HF as well, had to take the first one back but the second one has been great. I also have the Ryobi 18v one and its a beast.

had the HF one at my last house and moving I accidentally left it at the old house. I didn’t like that I couldn’t adjust the depth of the nail or staple drive with that one, that’s why I found the Wen one.

Does the Ryobi have depth adjustments?

Sorry about that, for some reason I thought it did staples as well.

I have an old craftsman one. It still works but only with nails.
