The MSRP would only be 6 million...

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
Why should anyone have to do that to make the vehicle more drivable?

I've owned a dozen or so vehicles over the last 30 years and no one ever told me I needed to to an OV Tune on my Jeeps, Explorers, Pilot, Crosstrek, Ranger, Integra, etc.

Oh shit!! This made me laugh!

1- Being 5 foot my issue is with power seats, but since that’s not allowed, I’ll sit this one out.
2- Don’t know who this is and not googling.
    3-Blacked out tail lights
4-Questioning the lift, might have it removed.
    5-The overall look of it.

Probably tall. When I test drove a ‘19 without the power seats, I couldn’t get to a position where my knees cleared the steering wheel. The power seat in the 2020 refresh helped immensely.

Thinking about this a little further, I would say more driver adjustment - steering wheel tilt and telescope, etc.

Toyota could put a recovery hook on the Tacoma as standard equipment.

I have long legs and the seats offer no thigh support, if l were going to do anything with the seat it would be raising the front.

You know it’s almost like most folks here just walked in and bought the first vehicle they saw. And now they regret their lazy behavior.

    1. If you could, what's one thing you'd change about Tacoma? (besides eng. power, seat position, and LED lighting)

-The truck’s constant hunting for gears, cant stand it.

    2. If you had one sentence to say to Mike Sweers, what would it be?
    -Don't know you, don't care.

    3. What is your most favorite mod you've done so far?
-Mostly stock, do love the retrax pro XR retractable tonneau cover. Serves plenty of functions especially carrying cargo in the bed/cooler and MT bike on top for the long adventure drives.

    4. What mods do you avoid/regret?
-I would probably avoid de-chroming the interior, not worth the money spent (even if it is cheap)imo. It does not bother me at all.

    5. What's one thing you absolutely love about your Tacoma?
-Flashing the ECU on my truck to the KDMax 6.0 performance tune! Best tune ever and should have came stock from factory. If you've never heard of it, check it out from thread below for more info.
New KDMAX Performance Tune by @PapaRee and @TWTaco

This question took care of number 1. You’d be doing yourself and your truck a huge favor!

True, although it comes stock on the TRD Off Roads and TRD Pros, it really should come stock from the factory.

    1. If you could, what's one thing you'd change about Tacoma? Let the tilt steering wheel tilt higher.
    2. If you had one sentence to say to Mike Sweers, what would it be? Make the manual transmission available in the longbed version with the double cab.
    3. What is your most favorite mod you've done so far? N/A.

Just one more reason I'm glad I'm leasing. If it still bugs me three years from now I can turn it in with no strings attached and get a Jeep or Ford.

people aren't douchebags for pointing out legitimate complaints they have. Especially given how expensive these trucks are.

Anyone who doesn't know who Sweers is should not have a say in anything Taco related as you aren't a trained well schooled Toyota bitching person.

Toyota reliability and that no other small 4x4 truck can match its capability at the same low price. I have a 2020 TRD 4x4 Off-Road Automatic, so the gear hunting of early Gen 3 truck has largely been corrected.

Just like having options. Maybe I'll keep it. Maybe the '24 Taco will have significant upgrades. Or maybe I'll dig what Jeep or Ford or Porsche or Hyundai has to offer.

I've owned 2 Jeeps, 5 Fords and now a Taco (among other things). They've all had their highlights and lowlights.

Only thing I know for sure is I'm not keeping anything for 10 years, even if I love it. There's always new technology and innovations that I'm going to chase.
