Hi guys/ ladies. I own a plain old 2005 basic 4 X 4 Tacoma which I bought for $500.

    So... My truck runs great but can't seem to switch from four high to four low. I tried it in neutral. I tried reversing. I tried going forward but it's all the same.The four wheel drive light flashes and it beeps and it remains in high gear. Help will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello and welcome to Tacomaworld!!

    Before I tell you to just remove the ADD and solder the two connections, which will 99% chance fix the problems, are you going from 4hi to 4lo while stopped in neutral?

    And any issues going from 2hi to 4hi?
