    Hey Tacoma Family

Doing a road trip and two questions:

    1. If I'm sleeping in the bed of my truck, I believe I need to cancel the key broadcast so no one can just get in. Wrap in tinfoil? If not then what?
    2. Does the front USB under the dials not work or is it incredibly weak? I tried charging my phone and it didn't give any juice. The USBs under the armrest seem to give juice however.

    Thanks in advance!

Ditch the tinfoil and just turn your fob off...hold lock and press unlock twice. Light will flash four times then fob is off. Press any button to switch it on again.

USB is very weak. Most car USBs are notorious for being weak

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    Try this (worked for me).
Manually lock the doors inside using the driver's side button. Put your fob in the bed. Try to open the doors. Should not be able to open by just grabbing the handle.
Worked for me without doing anything special with the fob.

USB is so weak sometimes I wonder if the phone is charging the truck. I just use any other connection for now. Eventually I'll aftermarket fix that USB.
