Anyone have a definite answer as to which rock sliders will fit a 4 cylinder? I wouldn’t think engine size would have anything to do with it, but I found this on cbi website saying 6 cylinder only. Any insight?

6cyl and 4cyl have a forward crossmember in a different location- a couple inches forward or back. The bolt on frame plates wouldn’t line up with a couple bolt holes but otherwise they’ll “fit”.

I know you're looking at bolt on but you should really consider welded. Might save you some time and headache.

I would dude, but I’m considering trading for a 4R or crew cab v6 in another 2 years and want to be able to get this truck back to stock

I geuss the best thing to do is to call the manufacture and ask them if they’ll work or not. Cbi is the only one that I’ve read about not fitting 4 cyl.
