I'm looking into these mechman high output alternators. I can't find anyone or much information on it at least for tacoma/x runner. Was wondering if anyone has installed one these mechman alternators and if there any good or how difficult it was to make it work?

If your truck does not have a tow package, your alternator is ~80A I believe, you can upgrade to an OEM unit from a tow package/TRD truck that has a 130A alternator which will be far more reliable than an aftermarket unit and should have more than enough power for your needs.

Beyond that look into Singer Alternators, it's a guy who rebuilds them and can increase your amperage output he's pretty prolific within the car audio industry.
