First road trip in the truck this weekend, went to visit my brother and his fiance in north Jersey. My buddy did so well in the back seat! Definitely no regrets getting the double cab. :D

What a beautiful day it was and still is!! Hope you all got the opportunity to enjoy it to the fullest!! I know I did.... spent time with her mom and close friends.... came home and worked on the mowers I received from good buddy mark(devious6) cleaned carbs, fresh gas and an oil change and both run like new!! Haven’t gotten into sharpening blades yet but I’ll wait and see when I start mowing on how they run when in use and go from there....

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians and welcome to the beginning of that thing called the work week!

Yesterday was beautiful, weather wise. I put a set of the expanded engine well splash guards on my Tacoma and then pretty much just relaxed the rest of the day. We brought Lynn's mom up for Easter dinner.

There was a long sighting of the International Space Station last night and the sky was perfectly clear - 7 minutes of visibility. I'm always awed when I watch it fly over.

Enjoy the day. Hopefully, I'll finally get the parts for the brush trimmer today. In the meantime, I've got an old sink tp pull off the wall in the stable and start to replumb a work sink we want to put in its place. Always something to do here.

    Enjoy and be safe!!

Myself I treasured those little mishaps .

I think the favorite was the first Ground Hog Adventure He was so proud as He brought it into the Bed to show us.

Hit me up if you still need help with the install. I don't have a lift at the shop, but I do have air tools.

IMO battery tools have supplanted air for everything up to like 1" impacts. I love the fact I can basically carry a garage worth of tools in my toolbox and be ready to go for anything.

Even an ARB Twin won't really run an air impact without a tank.

For trail and field work, absolutely.

For shop work I'm less sure; the air tools still generate more torque, and do it for longer, than battery. And in a smaller package.

I highly recommend Arcticelf if anyone is looking to get your truck lift. He did great job with my truck and no issues ever since. I will have him work on my truck next time!

Morning PA. Looking for some recommendations on a shop that works on Tacomas near Lancaster/York or somewhere that isn’t ridiculously far from that area.

It’s been too long since I’ve upgraded my truck, and I need new tires so I think it’s time for a lift. I like the idea of installing it myself but I don’t have all the tools and I’d rather just trust that it’s installed properly.
Planning to go with either 5100s all around with OME coils and dakars or the 6112/5160 kit with dakars. Will probably need the chop for some tires and then whatever else needs installed to reduce the chance of vibrations.
Edit: will probably add UCAs just to be safe even though I’m only planning around 2 inches.

Anyone from this area know of a good shop familiar with Tacomas? Or anyone around here who has installed your own that likes helping people out?

Yeah but dragging air hose all over the shop bugs the shit out of me.

Tell us more about these expanded engine well splash guards please.
Keeping the outside nice is work, under the hood is a p-i-a, if the above reduces the labor it sound like a good mod!
