Used trucks come with challenges. Dried paint on the passenger seat of my recently aqcuired 2012 Taco is one I'd like to solve, but I'm running dry on ideas that I'm confident of without damaging the seat cover.

Oddly enough, I replaced the broken down seat in my old GMC a couple of years ago and the replacement has paint on it too.

Procrastinating won't get the paint out, so ideas?

    Post us a photo.

You could try paint stripper. And then use a degreaser to get the paint stripper out?

Let’s not test this genius method without the prior approval of someone wiser than myself.

Hey, crew— We’re looking for someone knowledgeable in both upholstry and chemical engineering.

Try a steam cleaner first. Only steam no chemicals, works great on latex paint and hard surfaces, haven't tried fabric yet.

Yeah, I'd give that a shot if there was some hidden area to attempt it on, but the paint is right where any damage from the chemicals would be worse than the paint.

Oil paint, you’re kinda screwed. Latex paint, alcohol or Goof Off. If it’s latex, you’ll see it start to come off on a rag. If not, its probably solvent based.
