I now have a need to keep the bed as dry as possible. Previously, I had a soft tonneau but found that I always wanted to put my beer or coffee or really anything on the cover to free up a hand to open the tailgate. It was BONE DRY. Even after trying at the car wash. So I sent it and bought a Bakflip. Love it, except it is not bone dry. It leaks pretty good along the rails that meet the bed rails, not the cover. I have the kbvoodoo bed rack over/under it so that does create a gap. Anyone had success/failures with making this thing better? Also, what am I supposed to do with those big ass drain hoses? The holes in the front of my bed are tiny.

Edit: Hoping for some feedback on silicone, foam, ect to seal it up. Looking for something removable in the event I want something different in the future. I understand nothing will be bone dry but better would be nice

Just watch out, so you don't go too far through! There's a fuel tube assembly under there (expensive fix),,,, amongst other things.

As far as bone dry these tops were never designed to be so. Best bet is to get watertight cases for your gear or explore a SUV.

Good call! I've seen some route the tube out the front of the bed... might explore that option. Seriously though... there's a chance I would have yoloed that shit if you hadnt said that haha.

The walls on the inside of the bed look like shower walls after a rain... I may modify my original post but I was hoping for some feedback on foam/silicone/rtv(not super hip on this as it's a bitch to remove) and stuff like that. An SUV isnt an option for me, and it's tough to put a fridge in a case...air circulation and crap.
