SET #1 - SOLD SOLD SOLD - OEM TRD Sport Smoked Headlights

The lights will fit all 2005-11 trucks, but the original smoked style came only on 2009-11 TRD Sport trucks. These are in excellent condition with no leaks. I restored these using the best reviewed kit on the market (Meguiar's Heavy Duty Restoration kit) and the lenses truly looks like almost new. NO BROKEN TABS either! Which for those of you who have ever looked for used lights know this is almost unheard of.

NOTE: Driver's side headlight does have light sun made stress cracks visible only at odd angles. Please see picture below - it's hard to get a good picture of it. In addition the bottom of the driver's light turn signal lens seems to be loose - I only noticed this when taking pictures and turned the light upside down. I think it would be OK for normal driving (I had them on my truck for a couple years without issue) but I'm trying to be as clear as possible with the listing.

SET #2 - FREE FREE FREE - Aftermarket Black Headlights

I'll be blunt, these suck. They're cheap eBay lights that looked great when new, but very quickly became hazy and started to fog up during rain. However they did fit well and would be good for anyone looking to completely restore them, and there's no broken tabs. These look better in pictures than in real life, trust me. They'll need a lens restoration and a complete re-seal.

I'll take a 6-pack of any local beer if you're local. Otherwise these might end up in the trash.

Damnit, I've got a set of headlights I bought off eBay months ago. They are still in the box. Haven't installed them yet. They look exactly like yours. Now they'll probably wind up sitting in the garage for the next couple of years.

Unfortunately you're right, the online shipping estimate is $75 based on the box size and weight. I'd go to the store and confirm that price before making you pay, but I'd do $200 shipped for you.

Shipping quote came out the same for you as the last guy, just over $75 shipping to get to your door (assuming you don't have a business address to ship to, I think that would be cheaper). I'd do the same deal as Hayrider (but he gets first dibs) at $200 shipped to your door. I'm shipping from zip code 48188

I think I'm going to have to pass also. Bugs me having spent money on a set of headlights that are just sitting there. Maybe I'll run a bead of silicone around them and get some use out of them. I know I'll regret this decision.

Totally understand, however from experience I assure you you'll kick yourself for installing the eBay lights and you'll end up trying to track down some OEM ones in the end...that's exactly what I did :anonymous:

Also bump up! Someone has to want these!

The OP is 100% correct about you will end up looking for & buying OEM headlights‼️ I didn’t purchase because I have a set of New OEM headlights setting in a box in the garage as spares. (I will sell you but they are not cheap!)
Aftermarket taillights and other lights including retro fit headlights are ok because they aren’t dependent on the reflectors so much, so you can get away with aftermarket. But OEM headlights that are designed to use an H4 bulb work the Best with H4 bulbs‼️ The reflectors in the OEM headlights are just made better! Why just that little bit of quality control makes a big difference. You can upgrade the H4 bulbs (OSRAM the OE manufacturer 90/100w are about the best H4 bulbs on the market now) if you upgrade the wiring/wiring harness.
    *Edit*
I would have posted this before but I couldn’t find it, there a LOT of reading but a lot of good information. Make sure to completely read the first post because from what I understand is the OP keeps it updated.
    *Edit #2*
The new 05-11 OEM headlights I have. I ordered them because they are not going down in price and right now I get employee pricing (friend in parts) so their cost was $375 for a pair W/O bulbs plus if you want tack on all fee’s. The older these lights get the harder they are going to be able to get. And let’s hope that Toyota doesn’t stop stocking them as I have found other parts that are no longer available from Toyota. :pout:

OEM LIGHTS SOLD! Thanks @jackn7

Also for those other members who are considering eBay lights, here's what mine looked like after about 2 years. Mind you this is also in Michigan, where it hardly gets above 90 degrees so it's not like these are sun-baked either. Just terrible quality, even the light distribution was noticeably more poor with these when new.

I replaced mine with OEM (OEM on the right, eBay on the left) and it's a night and day difference.
