180,000 on original plugs? Wow, when you do the plug change try and post a pic of how they look, would be curious to see. As for the rutheniums I see no problem to give them a try. Some of the supercharged guys are using them and so far seem happy. As long as they are the proper heat range for your truck I see no problem besides paying a premium price. Also, how about other maintenance, did the previous owner keep up with that oil, filter, etc...?

THAT is the ticking bomb question.

Along with the frame condition if it was a salt country truck.

It can be confusing, but different manufacturers have different numbers which represent the same heat range, so both of the above plugs will work.

Modifications are bad and only bad people modify.
Interesting that there are ruthenium plugs for the 2nd gen but not the 3rd. I'm guessing many people 2016+ and up probably haven't got to the change interval.

Have you had a chance to change the plugs yet?

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
    Heat range conversion.

Ruthenium's will work but they have not been made for our specific application. They boot side connection is wonky. Several are running them as guinea pigs, with success so far.
I'm sticking to Iridiums for my S/C application until...
